Head scan to 3D Print + Controller Support

Hello fellow artists!
I want to share this personal project and my process with you guys :)
Just realized that I don't share much about my workflow or the creations I do as a hobby, so I thought it would be a good idea to have this in my portfolio to show a little more of my experience as a 3D artist.

Made this using the data from an MSCT scan I had some time ago.
I requested the DICOM file from the medical institution, and found the '3D Slicer' program, which is for clinical use and is free to download. With this software, I was able to process all the images and segment the soft and hard tissues from the scan and then export it to ZBrush as a 3D file.
Pretty crazy, right? My intention was to reconstruct my skull. I also used some X-rays I took when I had my wisdom teeth extracted to reconstruct the jaw as faithfully as possible, although I didn't incorporate that part into this print, as you can see.
Later, my printer arrived, and I thought about making this kind of sculpture as a stand for my Xbox One controller (PCMR though x]). It would look fun on the shelf.
Played around a bit with blending both parts, skin and skull, I ended up with this kind of grid that allows you to see the bone structure. I think it turned out interesting.
I also downloaded the scans of the controller and batteries to use as booleans with the correct measurements, just applying a tiny bit of inflate.
Painted with Posca markers and acrylics. Just playing around.

This is the first personal print I've made, since I recently got this printer and am still learning and exploring.
Hope you find it interesting!! :)

Not too much to see here, but hey it's a cool timelapse x)
